How to Make Your Yellowed Converse/Vans Canvas Turn White and New Again

As a huge fan of the canvas shoes, some of us are all the time in deeply love with the white Converse/Vans shoes, even deeper than the custom painted shoes. However, what troubles them most is the yellowing of their beloved babies and speed of becoming dirty with the time goes by. This is may not only for them, but also for all of us who have the white sneakers in the shoe box. Don’t worry, there’s always a method resolving it. Today, I’m gonna share the method with you.

First of all, fill a sink half-full with warm water. Add a few drops of dish detergent into the water and mix until the water is foamy. Use a gentle bleach-free detergent. Remove immediately and transfer to dryer to dry on low heat.

Then dip a kitchen sponge into the soapy water and wring it out. Wipe off stains and dirt from the Vans by brushing them with the soapy sponge. Repeat this process until all of the dirt and stains are removed. If the rubber still has yellow spots, rub a dime-sized amount of whitewall-tire cleaner and a cloth.

For the Vans, rinse the outside of the Vans under tap water to get rid of the soap residue. Place the Vans on an old towel, and dab them with the towel to help dry them out. Leave the Vans on the towel in a dry room for a few days until they are completely dry.

At last, Spray shoes with a water and stain repellant. Water and stain repellant makes future cleaning easier and should prevent yellow spots.

In this way, with using the methods mentioned above, your beloved Converse/Vans white canvas shoes will become white and new again.

Check Out Women’s High-fashion Shoes Trends for Fall 2012

Thanks to the average women’s diversified lust for their shoes, the style and trends of the shoes could never be dull. During last a few decades, the change has been witnessed by all of us though we are the ordinary people, not the fashion icons. As a matter of fact, the verage shoe style exactly evolve from the high-fashion trends. Common as we are, we should not be too out-of-date, right? Let’s eye on the latest shoes trends.

The change of this year is that many of the hottest styles in women's shoes and boots for fall 2012 feature neither of the platform soles nor the sky-high heels. Because these two types don’t match our fashion taste any more. Instead, there's loads of fancy footwear to be excited about this season.

The Return of Classic Pumps for 2012

One trend in women's shoes for fall 2012, really isn't a trend at all. In fact, it's actually the welcome return of a classic: pointy-toed pumps. It's important to note here that I'm not referring to pumps with extremely elongated, point toes; I'm talking about pumps with toes that aren't extended, but have a pointed or almond shape, as opposed to styles with rounder toe boxes.

Women's Stylish Dress Loafers

Dressy, unadorned, and streamlined loafers are hot, as are women's flats that are inspired by men's smoking slippers. If you really want to have fun with this trend, look for styles in lush materials like suede and velvet; rich colors like burgundy, black, or deep purple; or, go really bold with styles featuring animal prints, metallic uppers, glittery finishes or shimmery stud embellishments.

Chunky High Heels

I've always been a big fan of hefty high heels, as I find them easier to walk in than stilettos, but I'm especially happy with this season's selection because there are chunky heels in a wide variety of heights, including lower heels (for a great vintage look), and higher heels, for a retro glam vibe.

Other Fall Shoes Trends for Women

Of course, the custom converse shoes would never be out-of –date, as long as your thoughts are always in front of the fashion. If not, it doesn't matter that you have the complex of nostalgia. So, go ahead for getting what you want on the hand painted shoes
