Although Studio Shoe My Color is still younger than other studios in the same field, we indeed move on everyday, slowly and constantly. We keep it in mind that no matter how many mistakes we make or how slow we progress, we are still way ahead of everyone who isn't trying. We are trying to enhance our customer satisfaction to a higher level, to design more stylish hand painted shoes for boys, girls, kids, and to create more romantic matching shoes for couples in love. This is a inspiring poem that I personally like best. The reason why I share it here is that it is exactly our Studio Shoe My Color’s creed we insist on. We should admit that we inevitably have some defects, however, the most appreciative thing is that we are willing to work harder than we do yesterday.      

How Did The First Pair Of Shoes Come To The World?

Now, shoes are one of the most common necessities in our lives. They can be versatile with fashion, comfortable and offbeat chic. Certainly, shoe also has its own history and it is the one who created the first shoe that we should give much credit to. At first, our brilliant ancestors used some methods to protect their feet from rocks, sand and harsh weather conditions, that’s the first pair of shoes in the world. This kind of shoes were made from animal fur, void of any style or shape. In this case, it can wrap around the foot to provide protection during cold weather.

Shoes History

Dating back to 3700BC, the first shoes worn by people were called sandals in ancient Egypt. It also were worn in Greece, Rome and Mesopotamia. During the Middle Ages, sandals were abandoned for moccasins and boots. An early form of moccasin was used by the American Indians as well as the Eskimos. This type of footwear was the standard shoe worn by American settlers until Thomas Beard brought shoemaking from London to the United States in the mid-1500s. Moreover, the ancient Chinese people had invented a kind of shoes with the wooden soles.

With time goes by, the shape and style of shoes changes. People not only seek for comfortability, but also fashion, even individuality. Shoe artisans created ornate and decorative shoes for aristocrats in ancient Egypt, Japan and Europe. But in modern times, shoes are divided into several categories. For example, Sports shoes are designed to help the wearer better participate in a specific athletic activity, such as running or baseball. Work shoes are designed to help workers better do their jobs, such as heavy construction boots or walking shoes for nurses. Casual and dress shoes make up the other category, including the shoes people wear on a regular basis or when dressing formally. Hand painted shoes are mainly for those who are with independent thoughts, pursuing individualities.

Nowadays, shoe manufacturing is a major industry, meeting a wide variety of shoe needs, including expensive high-fashion footwear, sports-specific shoes and inexpensive shoes. 

The Story Behind Cupid Inspired Matching Slipons

 Love, the eternal theme of human beings, is actually everywhere in the world. People find love, then love love, starting the most romantic journey in the life. However, shot by Cupid’s arrow, we cannot avoid hurt. In other words, love, sweet as it is, meanwhile it's inevitable to save from heartbreak. Anyway, love needs courage, and we need you to know there’s a such kind of aesthetic custom painted shoes we especially design for you sweet honeies. Of course, each pair has its own birth story, so this pair is related to Cupid, the God of Love.

In Roman mythology Cupid is the son of Venus (goddess of love) and Mars (god of war). Venus was jealous of the beauty of Psyche, and ordered Cupid to punish the mortal. But instead, Cupid fell deeply in love with her. He took her as his wife, but as a mortal she was forbidden to look at him. As result, Cupid visited Psyche every night while she slept. Speaking to her so that she could not see him, he told her to never try to see him. Psyche, though, incited by her two older sisters who told her Cupid was sparcker [a monster], tried to look at him and angered Cupid. Cupid punished her by leaving her. Their lovely castle and gardens vanished too. Psyche found herself alone in an open field with no signs of other beings or Cupid. As she wandered trying to find her love, she came upon the temple of Venus. Wishing to destroy her, the goddess of love gave Psyche a series of tasks, each harder and more dangerous than the last.

Finally, Venus had one task left - Psyche had to give Pluto a box containing something Psyche was not to look at. Psyche's curiosity got the best of her and she looked in the box. Hidden within it was eternal sleep placed there by Venus. Cupid was no longer angered by Psyche and brought her from her sleep. The gods, moved by Psyche's love for Cupid made her a goddess. Together they had a daughter, Voluptas, or Hedone, (meaning pleasure) and Psyche became a goddess. Her name "Psyche" means "soul."

Nowadays, Cupid is the most famous of love symbols and everybody knows that boy armed with bow and arrows, and piercing hearts. According to this, designer in the Shoe My Color design studio wants to vivify the love, and he made the Cupid inspired couple slipons.  

  

Wow! All Is Addicting To WoW And WoW Related

A funny joke comes first:

A: don’t you be afraid of that your boyfriend cheat on you abroad?

B: Yep, because he has WOW.

LOL, therefore people often say that the charm of the WOW always beat the girlfriends or the boyfriends, which is not so exaggerative. Take our designer, Seven who is the WOW addict, as example, he not only spents his all spare time on playing WOW, but also cannot help painting the WOW upon our custom canvas shoes, umm…but it’s not so bad. So, he is still single now.

As you can see, the theme Seven chose on the custom shoes is mainly relevant to the new race in the WOW, the Pandaren. He asked one question he dwells too much, that’s, which side you will choose for your Pandaren, Horde or Alliance?

Recently, I received one customer’s request that she needed a pair of hand painted slip-on shoes for her wedding, and she asked to paint the picture drawn by her fiancé when they first dated upon the shoes. To be perfectly honest, it’s my first time to be told to require an slip-on shoes for the wedding, not the high heel. So I guess that the fiancé is pretty considerate or both of them are pretty high. Everyone like me in his childhood had a wonderful fantasy to the mysterious sea world, because we were told the bedtime stories that there were many elves living under the sea, including our dream prince, princess mermaid and the castle. Also, daddy and mummy often sang me a song. It’s called Fish Are like the Stars.

Down in the sea, the deep blue sea,

Millions of fish swim around.

Some are red and some are green,

And some are clear and can’t be seen.

So when I first saw this picture above, my curiosity and expectation about the future in the childhood came into my mind, which was more than precious. Then I’ve made a wish that I will paint it on the custom canvas shoes. Now I’ve made it and here comes the dream of ocean themed aesthetic hand painted high-top canvas sneakers as you see in the picture. It takes me three days to make it and it’s on account of the exquisite oil painting skill. For the sake of the paints, I use the acrylic paints that are proven to be applied directly onto canvas. Therefore, it definitely waterproof and washable.

Generally, the shoes are mainly colored in marine blue with a little girl’s back which not only make your whole outfit so cute, but also bring a refreshing feel in the hot weather.
