How To Clean The Hand Painted Canvas Shoes With Maintaining Original Color?

When I first got a pair of hand painted canvas shoes that someone painted for me, it’s hard to describe how excited I felt at that moment. But a few days later, I was considering what I should do to clean it without ruining the color, because it’s so amazing and fancy that I could not bear to make them fade. To be perfect honest, I guess it is a common problem for those who are addicted to the hand painted shoes and the craft art. Therefore, I’ve collected the most effective method to clean the hand pained canvas shoes with maintaining the original color.

The Materials You Need

An old toothbrush or the nylon bristle brush

A nylon scrub pad or a clean cloth

The Rubbing Alcohol

The Cleanser (in fact, the warm soap water is the best one to clean the hand painted canvas shoes)

The Steps You Follow

First, unlace your canvas shoes

Second, use the old toothbrush with the warm soap water to gently brush the canvas part.

Thirdly, for the sole part, you may use the rubbing alcohol on the clean cloth for the stubborn spots.

Finally, let your shoes air dry.

As a rule, this method is amazingly easy, and after a couple of days, I could wear my like-new and fancy hand painted canvas shoes again.
